Two Digit Numbers!
We are learning about two digit numbers. The kids enjoyed playing Two Digit Face Off today. You can try it at home!
Use a deck of playing cards (face cards removed, Ace=1). Play Place Value Face Off with someone in your family. -divide the deck in half -take turns flipping the first two cards over from the top of your deck to make a two digit number -the player with the higher number wins that round and can put his or her cards into a "win" pile, the player with the lower number puts his or her cards at the bottom of their deck
-if it's a tie, it's time for a face off! Each player deals 3 cards face down and flips over the next two cards to make a two-digit number to see which is greater.
